A client, who wants an appointment with a bank on a particular issue, makes such appointments more often if he knows the background of the financial consultant he will meet. Supplying the client with the background of the financial consultant at the moment when the appointment is being booked increases mutual trust and facilitates cooperation.

An intranet web information system has been developed for the management of the corporate organizational structure for a large Swiss bank. A part of the intranet web application was opened to the general public. The system allowed people to find a banking office according to postal codes, opening hours and the specialization of the banking personnel at that office.

The solution allowed people to find responsible persons in multiple branch offices all over the world while preserving the sensitive personal information of employees. The part of the web application open to the general public has been integrated into the corporate information portal and is available to clients who book appointments in local branches.
